The Global & International Studies Program is an interdisciplinary and multi-faculty approach to learning about the global environment as it undergoes the stress of change. Primary disciplines include economics, international politics and cultural anthropology, which are essential to understanding international and global issues in an age of globalization.

Examines the nature and scope of issues confronting the global village, including population growth, food production, global environmental degradation, economic development and its effect on political stability, and the opposing tendencies of conflict and cooperation.
